Stay True To Your Creative Self

Hi Everyone, I hope the world is treating you kindly! With all the crazy things happening in our world it is hard to find a reason to create, but that is far from true. Creative people have a unique ability to change someone's perspective by creating beauty that can stir a light in a soul. The experience could change their lives, I remember the first time I walked into a bead shop, the color and texture exposed everywhere led me into my creative endeavors. So just imagine if we stopped using our gifts as creative people, we wouldn't be true to ourselves and all the others we could inspire.

When the doom and gloom of the world starts to creep in for me, this is when I need to create even more. I will try new materials, designs and anything that sets me apart from ordinary life with all the judgments of how artisans and artists really don't contribute to real life. Real life to me is experiencing things of interest whether it be creating a garden, a wonderful meal or anything that leads you to a career or niche in life. Accountants love numbers, it excites them. Painters love to paint whether it's art or house painting. People are who they are, so being true to oneself is crucial to a happy life.

Plagued with chronic illness has been a curse and a blessing, it has made me realize how important it is to fill my days with things that bring me peace and "creating" is my favorite. My latest creations are completely from my "old soul" ready to change the world for the people who choose to notice. That is how I am true to myself.
